Inside the synagogue
The Ruderman Family Foundation has taken special interest in what for us, has been a non-traditional project - providing funding for the construction of a new synagogue at the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) Officer’s Training Base, Bahad 1 in Mitzpe Ramon, Israel.
The synagogue was uniquely designed by Eli Armon, a Beer Sheva-based architect who incorporates special, meaningful symbolism into his work. It will serve not only as a spacious place of worship for all Jewish Officer Cadets of the IDF, but as an important symbol of the base and the IDF.
